VIZCAYA MUSEUM & GARDENS
Florida’s summer is beautiful! No matter where you look or go, everything pleases the eye, everything is green and gorgeous. Somehow this year has a very mild temperatures with less humidity, so spending time outside is manageable. For the last several years living in Miami we’ve visited most of iconic places of South Florida. Today, I will tell you my story about by far one of the most charming and interesting places to visit, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. We’ve spent in Vizcaya Museum Miami all day and barely had time to see all its inside and outside attractions. Villa Vizcaya Miami is one of those places where history, nature and human love creates something magnificent. For such a vibrant event I prepares a special outfit: my new Haney Dress and my beloved TANYA LITKOVSKA silk headband and Marion Parke Shoes. Enjoy!

In four years, Vizcaya’s Main House was completed and grand party hosted by James Deering celebrated its opening. And in 1921 the more familiar Vizcaya Museum & Gardens name has been established, after construction of the gardens was completed.Starting form 1935 Vizcaya Museum & Gardens opens seasonally as a privately owned museum.
In 1987 Vizcaya Museum Miami hosted a meeting of Pope John Paul II with both Ronald and Nancy Reagan. MY TRIP TO VILLA VIZCAYA MIAMI
Big property of Villa Vizcaya Miami located at 3251 South Miami Avenue and is completely separated from the city with deep greenery of subtropical forest. We started our way from David A. Klein Orchidarium and East Terracce, that opens a great view to Biscayne Bay and Barge.
Our next stop was the Villa Vizcaya Miami Main House. After entering, I immediately recalled that Deering wanted Vizcaya to be approached and seen from the sea and the form inside the East Terracce view is even more spectacular! Actually every side of the Main House has its own view and purpose. Upon visiting I highly recommend just to sit and to look around. So much memories and rich artifacts!
Our next stop was Secret Garden and center Island that opened another beautiful view to the Main house. Everything in Villa Vizcaya Miami was and still is created to deliver emotion. Sometimes I’m wondering how our life would be different if all people could be surrounded by such beauty. We purposely did not go to Theater Garden, Maze Garden and Fountain Garden, as we wanted to have something unseen for our certain next visit to with memorable and remarkable place!
OOTD: HANEY DRESS, TANYA LITKOVSKA HEADBAND & MARION PARKE SHOES
My trip to Villa Vizcaya Miami wouldn’t be so special without Haney Dress. This ruby red dress is very elegant and has a very fragile silhouette, great fit to the gorgeous Villa surroundings. Mary Alice Haney, former celebrity stylist and fashion editor, is a familiar name for those who love redefined classic and high quality fabrics feminine pieces. This is my second Haney Dress outfit, about first one I’ve told you in my previous post.
My red Haney Dress features stunning red French lace trim along neckline, shoulders and hemline. Its silk charmeuse has slight stretch so even on a hot summer day it wears comfy. This particular model is a slip over head style. I styled it with my fave Pomegranate Red Silk Crown Headband and Marion Parke golden sandals. Scent of the day – Bella Blanca from Oscar de la Renta.
