CARS.COM and “DRIVE IT FORWARD” CAMPAIGN
CARS.COM and DRIVE IT FORWARD CAMPAIGN
With “Drive It Forward” honorable initiative Cars.com is not only donating a vehicle, it is providing a driveway of hope and support to ones who need it most. Brand new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is filled with all the everyday necessities and winter gear. Safe transportation and cold season comfort are both here to help build connections between real people and solve real problems. “We’re happy to provide a safe transportation option for the I Grow organization and give back to an incredibly worthy cause right here in our backyard,” said Brooke Skinner Ricketts, chief marketing officer for Cars.com
That’s the real purpose of “Drive It Forward” event. Seeing happy kids facies running around a new and shiny car and unwrapping the boxes with presents packed in the cars trunk is so touchy! I think this is great example to all of us how ones words are transferred in to real deeds. Hope this “Drive It Forward” campaign will be the first from a long list of followed similar campaigns all over the States and will serve as an excellent example to other companies!
I GROW CHICAGO COMMUNITY
When we arrived to the address, there already were a lot of people with cameras and equipment preparing for the event. I Grow Chicago is a local community known for its mission to connect. Amazing transfer form an abandoned house to a place where you see children smiles and hope in tomorrow’s brighter day is very heart touching. Honestly, after that day I myself started looking at this world differently. We usually see such things only on TV or read about them in press. But they are different in person. Very different! We all have to face it, that this problem exist nowadays, it is around us and we have to bring awareness to it and help in any way possible. I Grow Chicago has creative and resourceful programs, developed to change the mindset to a better, more brighter future. Programs like yoga, urban farming and skill building are just a few from a long list that I Grow Chicago has and it’s very good!
