HOTEL PLACE D’ARMES. ICONIC MONTREAL HOTEL
ICONIC MONTREAL HOTEL
Our acquaintance with this remarkable hotel started form its appearance. Hotel Place d’Armes is housed in three beautiful 19th-century buildings and its historic entrance was on its side, right where the chic Brasserie 701 is now located. Nowadays hotel is divided on four blocks, the fourth one actually was opened right before our arrival. Each block was opened in different years, thats why they all have unique interior designs. The contemporary entrance is located on the Saint-Jacques street which shares the views with Notre-Dame Basilica.
MY HOTEL PLACE D’ARMES ROOM
Our room was in the most contemporary and modernly designed, fourth building. When we open the room door first thing that greeted my eye were super fresh and joyful macaroons. As for the room itself, very bright, with hardwood floors and super comfy bed, it delivered only good and positive emotions throughout our stay. Also I’m sharing with you guys some shots of another room types the Hotel Place d’Armes has. They definitely can fulfill any demand most travelers could possible have.
Hotel shares 80 guest rooms, 48 suites and 5 wonderful penthouses. From ones that I liked the most, were the one right above the historic entrance with the Notre-Dame Basilica views and junior suit with huge balcony.
One of the interesting amenities Hotel Place d’Armes has that can enliven your senses is its Rainspa. It delivers uniquely designed facial and massage therapies as well as a one-of-a-kind hammam vaporium. Lots of different body type massages and care treatments surely help you relax and enjoy the day.
I always enjoyed having a great dining experience when traveling. And Hotel Place d’Armes can double such experience easily, because it has two great places on site. First is a classic Brasserie 701, that serves French brasserie classics from breakfast through supper daily.
Second is a Kyo Bar Japonais, with its Izakaya inspired menu and impressive sushi selection. Also, I want to mention that is has over 25 labels of sake! In addition you can visit Terasse Place d’Armes, a rooftop cocktail spot with a memorable views.
It was the first time when Mr. Lemono start speaking french in the morning and asked for the croissant. Magnetic influence of Hotel Place d’Armes charms and Montreal iconic looks made our travel companion sensual and romantic. And we did not expect any other reaction.
