BLUE RIBBON LAS VEGAS

Seafood anyone?

While attending the PROJECT WOMENS show in Las Vegas I was looking for a solid seafood place to visit. One of my friends advised me to check out the Blue Ribbon Restaurant Las Vegas, as a place that always serve fresh and quality ingredients and has a great selection of seafood dishes.

The Blue Ribbon restaurant is located in COSMOPOLITAN, which is a unique luxury resort hotel and casino in the heart of Las Vegas. From the start you are diving into the friendly and cosy atmosphere of ambient light and smooth music notes. The restaurant’s bar greets the guests with fancy cocktails and master selection of different spirits. And my applause to design and smart frontal placement of the bar, bravo!

If you have a big company or need more privacy for your visit, it’s not a problem at all. 40 seat private room can do both and has a private entrance as well, so you’ll not be bothered by paparazzi shots, if you’re a star of course )

My dinner experience started with sake tasting. Special thanks to the manager Stan, who greatly advised me in this matter and who’s deep knowledge of the menu selection was very helpful. Sake is not a sake if it’s not paired with good Japanese cold appetizer. And what can possibly be better in this category than fresh and yummy salmon&tuna sashimi!

Instead of satiate hunger this small orange and red bites only did whet my appetite and Platter of 1⁄2 Dz. Oysters, 1⁄2 Dz. Clams, New Orleans Shrimp, 1⁄2 Lobster & Shrimp Cocktail was ordered to help )). Everything was super fresh and seemed like caught this morning, but my personal vote goes to lobster and oysters. To me they both are title dishes for any seafood place and here in Blue Ribbon they are outstanding.

Later, Stan mentioned that ‘both Brazino and Salmon are very juicy and good’, and fight with my inner self turned into a fiasco – I decided to try both! Must admit that Brazino was really super tasty and the way how it’s paired with Avocado & Lime Butter is just insane.. Literally melts in mouth!

Being a frequent traveller I was pleased to know, that Blue Ribbon restaurants are widely spread from New York to Las Vegas and form Brooklyn to South Beach in Miami, so those of us who do care about what we eat and how it tastes are covered!
