MY FRANCE ADVENTURE: PARIS, NICE, MONACO AND DIJON
Super excited to tell and show you guys my French adventures, my so long awaited trip to a beautiful and timeless France. Four stops and four cities. I fell in love with a Beautiful Dijon, had a doubly emotions after trip to Nice and Monaco and it all started with fashion blogger in Paris sign. I invite you to see France through my sunglasses. Lets discover things like Laduree keychain, no heels city tour and early morning French breakfast. It’s hard to express how I love to have breakfast on a balcony with a view! And it’s even harder for me to express how badly I missed all those European charms, wine, people, wine, unique intelligent feel, wine, culture, again wine and finally all around “Bonjour!”…
MY FRENCH ADVENTURES: FASHION BLOGGER IN PARIS
My previous and actually first French adventures was back in October of 2014. Slush, cold and chaotic running people thats all that I remembered from that journey. This time I decided to start my second French adventures at fall. It’s definitely a much better time to get the top of the Eiffel Tower or please yourself with sparkling glass of champagne at the outside cafe terrace.
So here I’m, fashion blogger in Paris! Entering the world-famous confectionery Laduree on Champs-Élysées and preparing my belly to enjoy this world famous macaroons, mmm… Funny thing is, that almost all young people I’ve met could easily be named fashion blogger in Paris! Thing is that stylish and good looking people here are everywhere. Paris has so much written about it and even more would be, so even trying to describe it in one paragraph it’s a thankless job 😉 Next stops from French adventures – road trip to Nice and Monaco and beautiful Dijon, but today, fashion blogger in Paris!
TRIP TO NICE AND MONACO
10 hour drive separates capital and my fashion blogger in Paris touristic experience form this two coastal iconic towns. My trip to Nice and Monaco started with the struggle finding the missing French charm. Because I’m telling you, it’s a motley crew: classmates, neighbors, ex-coworkers, all except the French themselves. I heard russian language 10 times more often than I wanted to. Seven kilometers of Promenade des Anglais and trip to Nice and Monaco showed only thousands of identical umbrellas and not a single «bonjour» on your way. What a disappointment! Now I’m thinking that instead of having trip to Nice and Monaco, I’d rather visited Cannes. But I guess I’ll do it next time. What was most memorable here? “Checkerboard” at Massena plaza. Next stop – Beautiful dijon!
Last but not least is my beloved and beautiful Dijon. Finally my trip to Nice and Monaco ended and I’m in one of the most picturesque French small towns. Did you know that Dijon is the capital of the historical Burgundy region? No? I did not know it either! Also beautiful Dijon has one of the most fascinating architectures and styles ranging from Gothic to art deco. And of course it’s well known capital of mustard and just a nice city, which usually is passed by when travels are rushing to Paris.
In the photo below – my balcony view to those days, nothing special, but it makes me happy and smiling. I often ask in hotels where to go, but rarely follow the advice. 5 minutes spent searching Trip Advisor or Yelp gives you much more delicious and authentic choices. Small hint for you guys, next time in Dijon – visit the Chez Leon restaurant: very cozy and super tasty. Botton line great trip and million emotions form grande fashion blogger in Paris experience to heart touching and memorable beautiful Dijon!
